Turning the country into a classroom
In the fall of 2008, Gretchen pulled her three young kids out of their public school and drove around the country for three months in a 22-foot RV, home-schooling along the way. The family crossed 19 states, put over 10,000 miles under their belts and visited over 50 national and historical landmarks. Her husband Mike stayed home to work, offering support from afar. Gretchen's extraordinary experience inspired her to want to help other women take bold and courageous action of their own.
The RoadScholarz have been featured in Parents Magazine and other online publications where Gretchen is a guest blogger. Determined to build a better world, particularly in the fields of education and women's empowerment, she has managed multiple events for the Race to Nowhere and Pennies for Peace, and has studied extensively with renowned thought leaders including Tony Robbins, Brendon Burchard, Pam Hendrickson, Mike Koenigs, Bo Eason and Simon Mainwaring.
